The Message of Director ORIC

In my capacity as the Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Sialkot (USKT), I want to emphasize the crucial role of research in welfare of human civilization. At ORIC, we take immense pride in assisting both faculty and students to conduct high- quality research in the field of science and technology. We identify opportunities for research funding and innovation, provide guidance in developing scientifically sound proposals and manage research grants. Additionally, we collaborate with funding organizations to ensure seamless operation and timely achievement of research deliverables. We are also committed to maintain the highest standards of research ethics and integrity. ORIC has a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism and continuously strives to enhance research standards and integrity by improving the capacity of our staff and students. Our office is responsible for ensuring research quality, which is monitored by regulatory bodies such as the Board of Advance Studies & Research (BASR) and the Ethical Institutional Research (ERB). Apart from promoting research, ORIC also plays a crucial role in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among students and faculty. We welcome staff and students with innovative ideas and promise our full support in nurturing these ideas and transforming them into reality. In conclusion, I want to express my gratitude to the faculty and students for their valuable contributions to research and innovation at USKT. ORIC is dedicated to supporting and facilitating research activities and initiatives that contribute to the betterment of society.
